For many years in the early 90's, we pulled split window VW buses out of old garages and the woods. I'd buy them for a couple hundred dollars, fix them up, get them back on the road, and then struggle to sell them for more than $500. Needless to say we spent a lot of time on the side of the road fixing or repairing various parts and pieces. If life is really about the journey, then we lived it for sure.
